A boy is healed.

To read Moses story click HERE
  We pray believing.

14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

21 However, this kind does not go out except by
prayer
and
fasting.”

Trouble Breathing

I have MANY future posts on my heart, ready to share...
but they will have to wait for a few urgent prayers needed now.

I have had asthma my whole life.
There have been times when it's been bad
(mostly when I was a child)
but for the most part it's been very controlled.

This week has been another story.

On Saturday I noticed my asthma getting bad,
Sunday was worse, and by Monday it was full out horrible.
The days this week seem blurred together.
The last few nights have been scary.
I got around 2 hours of sleep each night because I was having trouble breathing.

Getting air into your lungs doesn't seem so precious until you are struggling to breath.
I am currently being pumped with steroids for asthma, taking an anti-bodic, and doing breathing treatments around the clock. My pulse ox (oxygen in the blood) has registered slightly low each time it was taken and that is on ALL the medication too.

I don't want to imagine it without the medicine sustaining my lungs.

I am doing all I can to not be admitted into the hospital. Last year I was admitted for six days for my kidneys, it is no fun staying in a hospital bed. I really don't want to stay another night being admitted to one. But I understand sometimes you have to be.

I am being as careful as I can and doing all that I can do.

It's been a vicious cycle though of wanting to sleep because my oxygen is lower and being unable to because the medicines make my whole body shake and cause my heart to beat so quickly.

I am beyond tired.
Prayers are so appreciated!

Lastly, my bloggy friend Linny needs prayers too!
(You can click on the link above for more info.)

Her daughter, Ruby started seizing early this morning AND her husband is away (along with one of her older daughters, Emma) in Africa. He is holding a Pastors Conference for 1,000 pastors from several countries all over Eastern Africa. Please pray for them all!!!

This verse has been on my heart today:
"For you have not received the spirit of bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption, wherby we cry, Abba Father."

                            -Romans 8:15

We remember this Lord in the midst of our trials.

We cry out to You Abba Father for help!
                                          ...And You hear us

Meet Mercy

For nearly a year I have been visiting Reece's Rainbow gazing upon the face of a sweet little girl named Mercy. She is currently orphaned in an eastern European country.

I emailed RR last night asking if I could advocate for Mercy and within what seemed like a minute (It was so fast! I could not believe it!)
Andrea Roberts- the Executive Director of RR emailed me back: "Absolutely you can share her!" and she sent along 5 additional photos of her.

What a blessing to be a voice for this treasure-- Thank you God!!!

Mercy has major medical needs.

She was born with spina bifida which is dear to my heart (for reasons I hope to share in the near future. :) She also has flail legs, optic nerve atrophy, congenital hip(s) dislocation, and clubbed feet.

Can you see the little heart imprint on her onsie? :o)

 She is perfect.

She is beautiful.

She needs to know these things.

She needs a forever family. She needs a mom and a dad. A couple to kiss those cheeks of hers and call her daughter.

Look at those cheeks! I had to zoom in... scroll down for the full picture of her sleeping, oh so sweetly...

She needs a bed of her own and someone to read her bedtime stories and tuck her in at night.

Sleeping beauty
She needs surgeries and someone to be by her side through it all.

She IS a CUTIE!!!

BUT above all. She needs HOPE. She needs to know Jesus. She needs someone to tell her about Him! She needs to know that she was made in His image and how she was created was by no mistake. She needs to know that God has a special plan for her life!

This 4th of July baby girl will be 3 years old this year. So for years she has been in an orphanage... waiting.

I DON'T want to see her become a statistic for a child being transferred into an eastern European institution.

She needs a family.
So I am desperate!

 PLEASE would you consider helping?

I have been praying.

I have been dreaming of her.

And I know that we serve a BIG God!

The One who rescues!
The One who heals!
The One who gives HOPE!

There are families who would like to adopt and help children like Mercy, but it comes down to money. Simply put. Adoption is very expensive and so is the surgeries that these children often need.

RR has an account set up for her and for the longest time it has had only $120 in it. That's it.

Dear friends, I come in urgency asking for you to please help her.

Would you consider giving to help Mercy. Even $5? If you feel it upon your heart to do so, you can: Donate Here!

You giving truly makes an eternal difference for this one little girl!

ABOVE ALL- she needs prayers!!!

Please join me in praying for:

the right forever family for her,
for her to get the medical procedures that she needs,
that people will have it laid upon their hearts to give,

and...

that she will have HOPE
by knowing the love of Our Heavenly Father.

Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you in advance!
I can't wait to see the mountains God will move on behalf of this orphan through the body of Christ.

P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens)

Taken in my kitchen- if you read my post yesterday, then you will know that I love the colorful light behind this cross :)

On a side-note- I dedicated this blog to the Lord to have His way with. Within one week- outside of the U.S. this blog has been visited by Canada, United Kingdom, South Africa, Germany, Romania, Australia, Chile, France, Netherlands, and Ukraine. WOW God! I think He's up to something BIG. Lord have Your Way, for Your Glory!

The One who holds this whole universe in His hands hears our prayers!
The One who holds your circumstances.

Don't like your circumstances very much?
                                                                  Pray.
                                         P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens)

I was praying about today's post and what does He want me to talk about today? Prayer. :)

I'm calling everyone (yes you reading this, you too) to utilize the POWER of prayer TODAY!

Prayer was never meant to be linked up with these sorts of phrases: "Well we've done everything, all we can do now is pray."

Every bit of your strength. From your heart beat, to your breath, to the small strength you are using in your finger to scroll down this page--- Comes from God Almighty!

Don't you think coming to Him FIRST might be a good idea?
Oh yes, it's a good idea ;) (Matthew 6:33)

Do you only utilize prayer in the middle of a crisis, at church, over a meal, at bedtime, after a death?

Before I saw how POWERFUL prayer was I was the same way... Now all that has changed. For good.

Through Jesus, we have access to God the Father--- ALL THE TIME. 24/7!

Prayer (talking to, crying out to) Our Heavenly Father is one of the greatest things that the Lord gives to us!

I've heard: "I'm not as close to God as I want to be." My question is then: "Well, do you talk to Him? Do you read His Word?" When the answer is: "No." I think...

Imagine trying to be close to a friend, without talking to them. Imagine wanting to hear from a friend, but choosing to not read the letter they wrote to you. A relationship takes effort.

I can't wait to share many stories of answered prayers in my life soon on here! Really fun stories. And you know, He wants to do the same for you too. Really.

He is faithful.

If you need someone to pray with you, don't hesitate to email me: newmerciesdaily@gmail.com
